Detailed Skills

Airline Operations

I have an exceptional understanding of airline operations compared to other college students, thanks to my tailored education in airline management, paired with my practical airline management experience. I am familiar with airline operations at the airport level, as well as various aspects of airline management. In addition, I am familiar with most of the terms, abbreviations, Acronyms, and concepts used in the industry.

Data Analysis

I have experience working with large datasets to help contractors, employees, managers, and executives understand aspects of their operations, including coming up with solutions to their issues. I have primarily used Excel and Visual Basic for data analysis, though I am skilled with Tableau and Power BI, and have worked in SQL. My analysis has been used for large-scale decision-making at American Airlines.

Customer Service

I have extensive experience in customer service, starting when I was 13 years old and began volunteering at my local library. I worked my way up to leading two children's programs, getting experience in leading a room full of children in creative projects, taking in feedback from parents, training new volunteers, and coming up with new ideas. In my role at Pavilions Grocery Store, I continued to hone my skills, ensuring that customer satisfaction was paramount, even during a tropical storm.

Project Management

I have managed various projects, including a major project to reduce mandatory overtime at American Airlines in which I worked to define the scope with managers, did extensive research with various divisions and airport divisions, created new process flows, and presented my findings to senior executives.

Leadership

I have built leadership skills in all the various positions I have worked in. Even when working as a Courtesy Clerk at a grocery store, I was a representative of the company and worked to ensure I demonstrated professionalism and pride in my work. Even in my non-professional life, I work to bring together people in the communities I am involved with to develop fun projects.
